Nicki Minaj is used to making history for women in Hip-Hop. The New York-based rapper will be the first solo woman to headline Rolling Loud in the festival’s seven years in existence.
On Tuesday, June 14, Rolling Loud revealed the highly-anticipated lineup for its New York City show with Nicki Minaj, Future, and A$AP Rocky serving as the headliners for the three-day event. Other acts to look forward to are Fivio Foreign, Lil Uzi Vert, Shenseea, Lil Baby, Busta Rhymes, Lakeyah, 21 Savage, Big Sean, Pusha T, Fat Joe, Benny The Butcher, Westside Gunn, Boldy James & The Alchemist, Dej Loaf and more.
Rolling Loud has enlisted numerous women to perform at its festivals from Miami to California. Young M.A, City Girls, Rico Nasty, Flo Milli, BIA, Coi Leray, Latto, Dreezy, Rubi Rose, Armani Caesar and others lit up the stage in New York last year. Cardi B also co-headlined the festival with Lil Uzi Vert in 2018. However, the Queen rapper will take the lead as the first female to close out the first night of Hip-Hop’s biggest festival by herself, and there’s no telling who she’ll bring out with her.
Much like its flagship event in Miami, Rolling Loud’s New York stop continues to blend the best acts in Hip-Hop and the industry’s legends together for three days of non-stop performances and more. In addition to New York, Rolling Loud will kick off its next run of shows in Miami with headliners Kendrick Lamar, Future and Ye followed by international shows in Portugal and Toronto.
